Oh, I think it was time to panic a few games ago.
I started this blog because I need somewhere to vent my feelings about my beloved New York Mets. They rae starting tio scare me with what would now have to be considered more of a collapse than a slump, and while I am trying my best to stay positive, it is not easy.
I realize that they are still in first place, but they have now lost 5 in a row and 10 of their last 12 games. And now they start a three game series in Yankee Stadium. The Yankees(those pigfuckers) are on a mAJOR roll, and this has all the makings of a DISASTER.
I am terrified.

This recently stroll thru the gutter really hurt... at the end, they went like what, 3-15? Something HORRIBLE like that? Amazingly they never dropped out of 1st. Still, they went from best team in the NL, 2nd best in all of baseball, down to measly less than 10 games over 500. I guess when you've enjoyed the greatness of the '86 Mets, after so many years of that jerkass Atlanta team winning it, just winning the division isn't sufficient... i want BLOOD, i want 102-60, i want 112-50, i want Atlanta 40 games out of first!!!!!!
So yeah, 3-13 or whatever really hurts, sucks, blows, all of the above. They'd not lost 3 in a row all year then all of a sudden they're the worst team in baseball (for a little while there,) 1-9 at one point?!? UGH!
Well, it could be worse... could be a Kansas City Royals fan... or a Devil Rays fan!
