Not a bad win. It was nice to see the Mets victimize someone else's bullpeb for a change. And it wa snice to see another strong outing from Big Pelf. He seems to be the real deal.
Over at MetsBlog, they shared some remarkable info- The last time the Mets won a game in which the trailed by 3 or more runs in the 8th or later was May 17th, 2007. Almost 2 years. They were 0-97 over that span. Wow. That is a fairly telling stat. Nice that they turned that around.
The umpire apparantly blew the call on Beltran stealing third in the ninth. If I was a Braves fan, I would be pissed, but as a Mets fan, I guess this is one of those times that you say "That's baseball."
