Above .500 !!!! Nice. 3 homers. Beltran and Reyes both got their first home runs of the season, John Maine got his first win, pitched out of some early trouble.
I k now it's the Nationals, but it is still encouraging. This is exactly what the Mets need to start doing. You have to beat the bad teams(sorry, Nats, but it's true, at least right now). Tonight, Nelson Figueroa needs to build on last week's win, and help the Mets weep the Nationals.

Over at Metsblog, Matthew Cerrone recounts an interesting conversation with Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran. Nice to hear Beltran saying that, and even nicer to hear Reyes listening. Let Jose be Jose !!
