Back to.500 !! Whoo-Hoo !!!!!
Okay, sarcasm aside. This was an encouraging win. a couple of clutch hits. They put the game away. Pelfrey pitched 7 shutout innings. Reyes went 4 for 5, including a triple, which would seem to put to rest any "nagging hamstring" concerns for Jose.
Heilman didn't give up any runs. Duaner Sanchez pitched a scoreless ninth, giving up one hit.
Now they need to sweep this team. I know it's just the Nats, but they kicked the crap out of the Mets at the end of the year last year, so a thorough domination is necessary, to get this season back on track.
Tonight we have Johnny Maine on the mound, so Let's Go Mets !!!!
