Today is a perfect microcosm of the bleeping Mets season in 9 hours. First game, score a lotta runs, Santana pitches well, bullpen gives up some runs, but no problem. The Carloses hit the ball around and out of the park.
So all the Mets fans start thinking,"Two games in a row of 12 runs each. Nice...is this the turning point ? Are the Nye Mets catching fire ?"
Ah-ah-ah! Not so fast. No, the Mets go out and make Bronson Arroyo(who has given up, what, like a thousand earned runs this year ? I mean it, I think his ERA is like 987.00) look like Cy Young, AND the bullpen absolutely FUCKING IMPLODES(with some help from shitty Mets fielding).
Way to go, Mets. Way to go.
Shit.
