Nice win. Really nice to see John Maine pitch a nice game, AND pitch into the 9th inning. The Mets really need these guys to do this more often. Nice to get most of the bullpen 2 full days off.
Nice job by the offense as well. Good to see David Wright bust his mini-slump. Nice way to end the road trip. Now, the trick is to back to Shea and take care of a team that is just simply not all that good(the Reds). I'm greedy, but a sweep would be nice.
This team needs a substantial winning streak.
