Okay, so they won the series with the Reds, and I guess I am officially a "glass half empty" Mets fan, but the second game on Saturday casts a pall over this win.
At least Ollie pitied a little better.

Look at that, Church hit is 7th... and last night he hit his 8th.
And still the Mets are playing .500 ball.
Win 2 out of 3 -- good. Lose 1. Right back to .500 ball.
That's gonna get the Mets NOWHERE.
It's so easy to be hopeful... then that gets shot right down.
If the Mets can maintain 6-4 (or better) in their Last 10 for about 2 or 3 weeks straight, then there'll be some serious reason to be hopeful... but this 5-5 crap has really gotta stop.
