Okay, now I am not going to ONLY dwell on the negative. Really nice game by Pelfrey on Saturday. Hopefully his early struggles were due to the tendinitis, and he will continue to bounce back. And, of course, Santana was his masterful self on Friday.

Now, on to Sunday. I know that teams can't always sweep...But the NATIONALS ? I'm sorry, if a team is going to have any post season aspirations they need to sweep the worst team in the league at home. There is NO EXCUSE for that. I don't care if that makes me a spoiled brat fan or whatever else I might be called. And on top of losing, to get STOMPED by the worst team in the league ? After that sweep in St. Louis, the Mets should have torn the nationals limb from limb, and they just didn't. Sad, and disappointing.
And don't even get me started on Ollie. I think he very much needs a trip to the minors. That's a disaster right there.
