Wow, was I ever wrong about that game on Tuesday. I gotta admit that I am impressed at the way this team just brushed that hideous loss off and won the next two against the Phils. Nice job, Mets! And now they stand alone atop the NL East. Let's hope they like the view and stay there awhile.
And I would like to officially apologize to Carlos Delgado. Carlos, I was among those thinking that you were finished, and that it might be time to just cut you loose. I am sorry, and I am glad that Met management was smarter than I was. Nice job, pal.
