Wow...

So, as I write this, the Mets are getting their asses handed to them AGAIN by the Pittsburgh Pirates. It's 9 to 4 at the end of 4 innings, which is far from over...But this is truly ridiculous. I have been trying real hard to be positive about this team, but this is making it really difficult.

  I am almost to the point where I would like them to collapse now, so that maybe Omar will be forced to do something to make it a different team.

  And even if they come back and win this game, I don't think my feelings will change any. I simply do not trust this group of baseball players to actually achieve anything. I'm not sure what would make a difference, but I just feel like something has to give.

 And I know that Reyes is hurt, but would Reyes have pitched today ? Four runs in 4 innings is not terrible offensive production, but then Pelfrey gives up 9 ? What the fuck ?

  I don't know. I feel the best this season will produce is another brutal fade, but I don't even know if they will get the chance to fade in September.
