Nice. A close win against the Phillies, the Mets with no Delgado, no Reyes, and a not at his best Johan Santana on the mound. David Wright hit his first home run in 100 at bats or something. Overall, not a bad game. And a game that last year, I think the Mets would have lost(no offense, Billy Wagner).
One thing of interest..I have heard(but not seen) that Shane Victorino was shown looking angrily at K-Rod for his "antics" after securing the save. I gotta say, I'm a little sick of Visctorino and his bullshit. He is constantly complainibng baout the Mets "antics" , and yet he is the guy who lingered on home plate last year after a go-ahead home run, and his little teammate "J-Roll" was seen shushing the Met fans with his finger after his go-ahead home run last night. What ? Anything the Phillies do in celebration is okay because they're th Phillies ? Fuck that little weasel.
