So, i was visiting friends this weekend, and i was pretty much without computer and tee vee. And I survived! The only bummer of it, actually, was that if we were at home, i could ahve watched the Mets all weekend(playing the Marlins in new York, means that they can show the games here), and I did not know that they traded Ramon Castro until this morning. Neither thing is tragic, really. It seems that the combination of Omir Santos' play and Brian Schneider's contract made Ramon Castro the odd man out. The Mets got a right handed pitcher named Lance Broadway. i don't know much about him.

I did get to watch teh game yesterday(Thank you, TiVO.) and it was nice to see John Maine pitch well again. And to see K-Rod record yet another save. Very nice. Nice to see the Mets playing sound fundamental offense, too. Bunting guys over, then getting the big hit. Good stuff.

Bad stuff- I guess Angel Pagan hurt his groin. I guess we'll see how long it puts him out.
Putz was bad again. Not sure what's going on there.

 Time for the Pirates.
