Okay, so it's only a two game sweep...But it was in Atlanta,and a two game sweep is still a sweep, so I will take it. And I presume the Nye Mets will take it as well.
Well, this one was almost a killer, especially with Larry Jones at the plate with a chance to once again kill my beloved Mets...But NOT SO FAST...K-Rod gets him to fly harmlessly out to right. Hu-WHAT!?!?!? A cchance to blow a lead to the Braves and the Mets don't do it ? A refreshing change of pace, I would say.
Now back to Citi Field for the Phillies. Two more wins would be awful nice.
