So, now the NYE Mets are on a pace to be 162-0! Whoo-hoo!!! And by my calculations, outfield phenom Daniel Murphy should hit 162 home runs, and drive in 324 runs!! And, of course, K-Rod will OBLITERATE his own save record. At his current pace, he will finish with a whopping 162 saves !! October baseball, here comes the Mets !!!
Okay, obviously, I'm being a jackass. But, an Opening Day win IS a nice thing. And to see the three bullpen acquisitions do exactly as they were asked was certainly pleasant. I do know that it is a looong season ahead, and at least in recent memory April & May(& June & July & August) are not the Mets' main problem. I want to see this result in September and (dare I say it) October.
Let's go Mets !!!!

Zoooma!- What ? i thought you WERE going to be my Mets tv guide all year! I thought you were gonna be like Moviefone...I call you up, and you tell me where and when i can catch the Mets! Damn! :)
I am definitely gonna watch on Monday. I'll have to see about Sunday, because I think we might be in the blackout area for the game. Never mind the we're 8 hours from Miami. I know I get blacked out on MLBTV.com, and sometimes on FOXSPORTS as well. I'm hoping I can see them on TBS.
I saw on a website that Joey Votto is the early favorite for Enemy of the Year!! :)
